Pulaski County Land Use Study

INTRO

Background

Background

Informed by public input and local analysis, the Pulaski County Land Use Study and Plan is a resource focused on the future of the unincorporated areas of the County by looking at land development, infrastructure, growth, economic development, and quality of life within the County.

The purpose of the study is to create a realistic and implementable plan that can move the County toward a future that reflects the character and needs of the citizens, communities, business owners, and other stakeholders of the County.

You may wonder what a land use study is or what it will accomplish for your County. The Study is an inventory and analysis of a multitude of data related to infrastructure, land use, and community demographics. The study is accompanied by a plan that provides recommendations on how the County can grow and develop into the future. The plan is not regulatory in nature, but rather it is a tool and policy guide to be utilized by the Planning Board and Quorum Court as they consider future decisions regarding land use, development, and redevelopment. The Plan will be flexible and lay out broad goals and objectives for the unincorporated areas of Pulaski County for the next 20 years.

The project is now represented by two (2) phases. You can learn more about each phase by viewing the Homepage 🔗 content as well as navigating to unique exhibits pages for each:
